What is a UGC video ad?

UGC stands for user-generated content: a clip that looks like a customer filmed it on their own phone rather than something a brand produced. It converts on TikTok, Reels and Shorts because it reads as a person rather than an advertisement. Shotova generates that format from one product photo, with a fictional creator holding your real product.

Is the person in the video a real person?

No. The creator is entirely fictional: an ordinary adult who does not exist, with a generic everyday appearance. That constraint is composed on the server and travels with every prompt, so the result cannot be a likeness of any real, famous or recognisable person. The creator is always clearly an adult.

How much does a UGC video cost?

A UGC video costs 3 credits per second, so an 8 second film is 24 credits and 12 seconds is 36. Video generation is available on paid plans. The separate Product Video tool, which has no creator in frame, runs at the same 3 credits per second.

Does the video have a voiceover or music?

No. The finished file has no audio track. Speech means lip-sync, which is where this kind of generation visibly fails, and a synthetic person saying something about a product is a claim made by someone who does not exist. Add your own voiceover, caption or sound on the platform after you download the clip.

Can I post these on TikTok Shop, Reels and Shorts?

Yes. Every clip is vertical 9:16 with the top and bottom of the frame kept clear of anything important, which is where the platform interface sits. Download the MP4 and post it directly, or run it as a paid ad. Nothing is watermarked and no text is burned into the frame.
