What is AI product photography?

It is generating finished product images from one photo instead of shooting them. You upload a clear picture of the product, describe the scene, and the model builds the lighting, background and shadow around it. The product stays the one you uploaded; everything around it is generated.

How do I turn a phone photo into a professional product photo?

Upload the phone photo, pick the scene you want, and generate. A clear shot on a plain surface in ordinary daylight is enough to start. No background removal, no editing software and no photography experience are needed.

How much does AI product photography cost?

One credit is one image. Starter is $12 for 100 credits, so a listing image is about twelve cents. The free plan includes 10 image credits a month. A photographed image runs $50 to $200 in 2026, and a full five to eight image listing set runs $300 to $1,200 per SKU.

Will the AI change how my product looks?

No. Product integrity is the first rule of every generation. The shape, colours, materials, proportions and label text hold to your uploaded photo, so the image shows the item you actually ship rather than an approximation of it.

Are these images allowed on Amazon, Shopify and Etsy?

Yes. Amazon requires a main image on a pure white background with the product filling the frame and no added text or props, which is the default output here. Every image carries a full commercial licence and exports at the dimensions each platform expects.

What kind of product photos can Shotova generate?

White background pack shots, styled lifestyle scenes, close detail crops and creative themed shots. You control the scene, the lighting direction, the mood and the aspect ratio. It works across electronics, beauty, homeware, clothing, food and jewellery.

Does my original background get removed automatically?

Yes. Removing the original background is part of generating the image, not a separate step you run first. Whatever was behind your product on the kitchen table is replaced by the scene you chose.

Can I match the look of a photo I already like?

Yes. Attach a reference image in the composer and Shotova reads its lighting, palette and mood, then applies that direction to your own product. The reference is never copied into the output.

How is this different from editing in Photoshop or Canva?

Editing needs a skilled person and repeats per image: masking, clipping paths, layers and retouching. Here one upload produces a finished, platform-ready image in under a minute, and doing the same for the next fifty SKUs costs fifty credits rather than fifty hours.
